Nishiki Rice (short grain)

  1. Soak the rice in filtered water for 30 minutes (same if you add black rice)
  2. After soaking, rinse the rice under running water until water runs clear
  3. Place rice in the Instantpot inner pot and add water little by little and leveling out the rice so it's at an even level. Measure the water by placing your index finger -it should come up to your first knuckle. If you added too much water, just take a bit of the water out and remeasure. This isn't an exact measurement.
  4. Lock the lid of the instantpot and put it at high pressure for 3 minutes, and natural release for 10 minute before serving
